Maya's Lounge, the Sleek and Hip spot to be
So it was a Friday night.. me and a couple of the guys were hanging out with some girls but we were tired of going to the same old places in NYC - the avalon, spirit, webster hall (gosh no not anymore).. the night spots in nyc have gone to shame from what it used to be in the early 2000's.. We decided to check out some place new, and I remember hearing about a place called Maya's Lounge and Indian Restaurant from a friend back at RU in Newbrunswick.... We freshened up, and off the city it was..
Upon entering Maya the first thing you'll notice is the elegantly, slick and enticing bar that changes colors.. As you walk past you'll notice comfortable couches and beds along the perimeter that are perfect for any group of guys or girls looking to relax while they enjoy their cocktails and wait for their appetizers.. yes that's right, it's the spot to go for great Appetizers.. when you get there you'll definitily want to check out the menu and order a couple of things you haven't tried yet and you won't be disappointed.. here's a link to their menu to see it's diversity: http://mayalounge.net/menu.htm .. on top of anything you order, i personally recommend the Veggie Kababs, they were great..
